Amaks Hotels & Resorts opens a new sports and recreation complex at the Staraya Russa resort and announces the start of new construction. On November 22, 2014, a new modern and multifunctional sports and recreation complex "Aquacenter" with an area of more than 4000 sq. m. was opened. This is a modern three-storey building equipped with the latest equipment, with a 25-meter long swimming pool with six lanes, a children's pool with slides and elements of an aquapark and a sauna complex (including a Russian steam room, a Finnish sauna and a hammam).
The total cost of the project was 200 million rubles. Also in the "Aquacenter" opens a spa complex "Russa Style" with innovative programs in the field of cosmetology, and a gym with cardio and strength equipment.
The key concept of the new project was the traditional combination of convenience and advanced technologies for the resorts of the Amaks Hotels & Resorts chain. So now the popular domestic resort, nominated for the Russian Hospitality Awards in the nomination "The best resort hotel of the year-2014", offers not only comfortable accommodation for up to 500 people in comfortable rooms of various categories equipped according to the standards of the network, but also excellent food and a wide range of additional services.
On the ground floor of the "Aquacenter" there is a disco bar "Aquarium", where it is convenient to hold discos, themed parties and concerts, bowling on two tracks for individual games and championships among the guests of the resort and residents of the city.
And in the spring of 2015, construction begins on the largest hotel building of the Staraya Russa resort, with 300 rooms. The new nine-storey building will be located near the stadium, in an ecologically clean pine forest, within walking distance of the resort's hospitals, but at the same time it will have its own infrastructure.
